Healing falls

Water being my favorite subject to paint so I figured I should try it on scratch board. The surface is primed with white gypsum clay then covered with India ink. Then an exacto blade is used to remove the ink by scratching into the clay. It is a very meditative exercise as each mark made is there permanently. It is exciting to see what kind of effects i can achieve with this material
