The Deep Queen

My series “Animal Guardians” explores the earths most treasured creatures. The deep queen is a prayer for my favorite sea queen the most exotic intelligent being I have ever met – the Octopus. This is an exploration of a new medium, scratch board, where all the the lines are carved out with an x-acto blade.
